A new Artfolk collaboration rolls out this week, with a Watercolour Florals workshop at Entangle Living Art in Dayboro. This is such a gorgeous space, made more lovely by the opportunity to relish in some creative downtime, refreshments included. Learn drawing and watercolour techniques and enjoy the lush greenery that surrounds you.
Next month I have two workshops with Work-Shop in Newstead. This is a great Australian business that supports local creatives, makers and entrepreneurs around the country by hosting and promoting their workshops to the public. There is so much passion, knowledge and skill available to enjoy and share, from making pickles, macrame, digital illustration to sewing. As of this month Artfolk has been working with Work-Shop for two years… basically since I decided that I needed to live a more creative life and chanced upon a press interview of the gorgeous Ellie who manages the Brisbane business. Its been (professional) love ever since.
Artfolk workshops are heaps of fun and usually book out at this venue so get in quick…
Clay Handbuilding: Cups and Bowls is on Wednesday 10th October
Boozy Mixed Media is on Thursday 11th October
Lastly, I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Barossa in South Australia for a few days. It is truly a landscape masterpiece. I was so inspired and awestruck that I am now in the throws of creating an Artfolk Barossa arty getaway. Think picturesque beauty, winery visits, country drives, creative play and art making, building new friendships, all with great wine and delicious food of course. I will be releasing more details in October so watch this space.
Have a great week and enjoy the Spring fever. Everything is blooming, and everything else is blooming lovely!
