I have been a technological black hole for weeks with nothing seeming to work but I think things have now been ironed out. A special hello to all the new Artfolkers I have had the pleasure of meeting over the last month.
Exciting times... lots of new collaborations. One that I am really looking forward to is Illustration workshops at West Elm Brisbane, which commences this Sunday, 2-4.30pm!
These workshops will teach you the practical skills and techniques used and drawing and mixed-media to represent a small arrangement of decorative items and botanics. We will peruse the stunning West Elm collection discussing what makes a successfully styled composition. Participants will then be introduced to observation skills, drawing and composition methods and mixed-media application.
All levels of arts experience welcome, with tuition catered to your skills. Only $50 for 2.5 hours!
With a plethora of examples seen across creative, wellbeing and home magazines, and media, get in on the trend and create your own masterpiece to frame.
Artfolk Arty Sunday... FREE Meet Up this Sunday!

Bring a chair, a friend, drinks and snacks, and your own art materials. This is all about creating in the supportive company of arty others, regardless of perceived abilities. Art tuition is NOT provided.
Please check updates for any changes due to weather and RSVP via the Meet Up page HERE
Woodford Planting Festival Returns
I am still receiving queries in regards to The Planting ceramics. They are now residing at the Woodfordia office ready for collection. They are open 10am-4pm, Monday - Thursday. You can simply drop in to pick up or get in contact with them.
Please feel free to send me a testimonial, photos of your in-situ makings or post a review on the Artfolk Facebook page. I am currently going through a big learning curve regarding the strange world of online marketing and getting feedback from some of the hundreds of Artfolk workshop attendees is a good place to start.
Have a fabulous week.
